I have daytime LED running lights. I am wondering if i can make them go on when i unlock my car.
My collegue's car, who parks next to me has this on his seat leon.
It looks nice when it's dark and could be handy for finding my car (when parked in big lots)

I think you will find you need the sight and light pack mate,
Look in the comfort settings.

It will when dark then mate, you can always trick the light sensor just put your hand over it so it thinks its dark then unlock the car.

I wouldn't use the sat nav but really want the colour screen.
Would be great if it was possible.
Does vxmods know?

We must find out as that would look grand. A lot better than the GID/ TID screan.
This is the view most seen by others

a really think the only member who might have a chance of getting this to work
is Andy from VX mods he will know if this is possible or not
there would certainly be wires that would need to be changed
it may be best to ask him and see what he can find out about this.

My car is a 12 plate and I've got the setting where the lights come on when I unlock the car, but only when it's darks obvs.
I think if you flash the headlights before you get out the car then they stay on for so long too.

It'd be a bit of work but in theory you could do the following I'd of thought..
Splice into the DRL bulb wiring at the rear of the headlights, run a wire to the interior lighting loom, then when the doors are opened/the doors are unlocked, the interior lights and DRL's will come on in the same way as wiring in footwell lights
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I've seen it done on Vectra C fog lights.
