Ha what I plan & what happens are 2 different things... I have not owned a car for longer than 2.5 years though so not looking hopeful for the GTC as I am 18 months in.

I did want to use up the 100,000 mile warranty though... only 44,000 miles to go lol

No plans to get rid especially if things like Sat nav and afl can be retro fitted.

Never had one car for more than 2 years. This one might be an exception since it's the first I've modified.

a remap and pedal box will sort that out
if you have the life time warranty i would recommend
the super chip bluefin as you can remove it and put it back on when you want.

A red DTUK box and pedal box would be better.

i got the na 1.4 and got the bluefin pluss k@n and the pedal box for a extra kick but that gives no bhp
i had a dyno run and i get 13.5bhp extra
they say you get 8bhp so i was happy when i got the results
regal can get betwwen 12bhp and 15bhp if you are close to them i would go there.
it was to far for me so i opted for the bluefin

give then a phone they will sort you out.
if you have the turbo your looking at 25 to 30bhp.

I wish I had the turbo. Called them before about dropping the engine. Said it was difficult. Would basically need to replace everything from other car.

it is worth it my car feels much better now
not perfect but there is a difference and well worth doing
a combo of the pedal box and remap will make the car more usable
i am not sorry at all i did it the car pulls much better now and is a better drive all round.
yes it may cost a bit for both but there is not really any other option

Can not see the link on me mobile but if it is the ones on eBay for the 1.6 turbo they won't fit as the pipe is 3 inch and the 1.4 is 2 inch pipe also that one does not replace the back box it just goes in front of the original also not stainless

would def recommend a Bluefin remap...Ive got a 2013 1.6vvti and the improvements along with k&n and pedalbox are excellent, it definately gives a bigger increase than what is stated on the superchips website, or at least it feels like it does...leaves a standard 1.6 for dead.

Will probably keep the car another 18months

glad you got around to getting the pedal box at last

.......dont know how true this is but I have heard the ECU records max torque in each gear...now this could be a problem Wtf
Reply

the bluefin wont curse any damage there quite safely mapped
the ecu can only store so much data
just take the bluefin off for a week if you think you have any problems
before going back to the dealer
then the data on the ecu will read true
if it does store that info but i don't know that answer.

you got a good deal on the v3 :cool
