Middle Speaker on 2015 CD400+
#1
Hi all,

Please can someone tell me if it's an easy job to wire in the middle front speaker on the later cars with the CD400 +?

I've got the speaker, just need advice on wiring it in please.

The oem wiring should already be there. It may be taped up behind the dash somewhere

I'll have to have another look as I couldn't see them when I first checked.

Thank you for your reply.

You must have to take the stereo and display out to find it.

No problem.

Thanks for the replies...I found it!

It was well hidden away but as suggested, I pulled the radio and screen out of the way and had a good route around.

Funnily enough my last car, 63 plate GTC SRi 1.6 T, had the middle speaker and the sound was definately better.

2015 VXR with CD400+ never sounded as good. After reading various posts I discovered Vauxhall dropped the front middle speaker, I took a look under the speaker cover and found a hole instead.

That's why I decided to fit it, hoping the sound will now be better. Anyone wanting to improve the sound from the later cars fitted with the CD400+ should invest in the middle speaker!!

The wiring is definately there.
