Power Consumption
#1
Hi all,

I just have a question about power consumption in my car. I now have the following extras in my car which all use power:

Lumbar support
Heated seats
Ambient lighting in doors and console
Extra boot light

Now bearing in mind I only have one fuse box too, am I likely going to have issues with the car not being able to hand out enough power any time soon?

Thanks and sorry if this is a stupid questions

You will have 2 boards mate one in the engine and one behind the glove box.

The BCM handles the interior lights and shuts them off after so long to prevent battery drain.

Heated seats depending how they have been done (if done via a relay and ignition live feed like I said don't worry about them)

Lumber will only use power when you play with it which by now you should have it set how you want it.

Hmmmm not sure how they have been done tbh! Ha. Well I saw him wire them up but not sure exactly how it was done if you kno what I mean.

But with most or the things only coming on when I do things like open doors and that then I guess I should be fine Smile.

@tucpal you sound very certain Haha. Thanks Smile
