I have one of these on the Astra Elite and I used to have one on my old Omega Elite. I was disappointed when I bought a Vectra and it didn't have one a few years back. Nice mod to have if you can get the mirror cheap enough.

I've retro fitted an auto dim mirror in majority of my cars. I think they're fantastic!

there much better even as a standard mirror as they are bigger and give a much better view than the standard one

I was scouring the forum earlier and saw a thread where Lewis was making reference to a cover where for an auto dim mirror which was suitable for not having a windscreen sensor. Is this right or am I making it up?

Just got myself an auto dim mirror as I sold mine to Lewis but with the upcoming front camera retrofit I need to go back to the standard one £25 posted so not too bad looked up the price new £384.35 WTF.
