Caliper slide pins replacement? - umognog - 18:th-Aug-2020 I could swear when I replaced my discs and pads two years ago, I saw a post on here about replacing the rubber sleeved slide pins with plain ones (by buying two packs). Cannot find it with any searching. Anyway, I didn't do that back then (only had the one set) but I'll be damned the brake squeal has come back and I'm betting the caliper is sticking on that rubber boot two years later. Looking to replace the slide pins for simply greased plain pins, that an ok/recommended thing to do and are the same pins used throughout the range? Looks like my new workshop is getting its first use!
