Small glove box removal - chrisb2511 - 18:th-Aug-2016 Does anyone know how to get small glove box under steering wheel off? Im putting a pedal box on and wanted to feed it up through the small glove box/cubby hole. Ill give that a go. Basically just the two plastic sides that make up the walls of the compartment... I think it may just he one of them you have to squeeze actually... I have purchased a replacement which has open ended hooks on the bootom which looks as if they just push onto a bar. But cannot get the old one off and don't want to break it. The reason for replacement is the spring on the catch has gone and the box just remains open and is awkward getting in and out of the car.. Any advice would be gratefully received for my 63 plate astra J.
