  Bumper lacquer coming off
Posted by: Rusty2009 - 3:rd-Aug-2014, 15:56:42 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC Common Problems - Replies (9)

So the Wife washed my car for me today as I was busy hanging a gate.

She called me out to look at the front bumper.

Not very happy but I wasn't happy with the colour match when I got it back from the painter.

I had it done just under a year ago.

Now I'm debating do I get in touch with the chap who painted it or should I just go to a body shop and get it resprayed.

Whats the rough cost £100-150?

  Key problem on Astra.
Posted by: Rampage - 3:rd-Aug-2014, 11:01:32 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC Common Problems - Replies (5)

My key on a 2011 Astra has broken. The blade silver part that rotates and holds the blade in place has broken.
Is there a way to open the key up to replace this part?

Wheel options 18 19 20 what do you think ?
Posted by: DE5IRED - 3:rd-Aug-2014, 09:48:41 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (21)

Hey guys

Well as a some of you know I'm taking collection of my gtc sri this coming Saturday
And all ready I'm looking at everything I'm looking to change.

The standard wheels I'm not really over the moon about but they will do for now I urgently
Want to change them but just don't know what option to go with originally I said to myself
Just to get some of the sportier gtc wheels I've seen but then couldn't really find a great deal
About then I thought possibly some vxr wheels but kind of feel I'm begging the top boy lol

I've looked about and not really seen many that have stood out to me as of yet but
I've decided I want 19s and praying its not going to change the hadeling a great deal

Thoughts and suggestions welcome and appreciated

GTC Head and Rear lights question ?
Posted by: DE5IRED - 2:nd-Aug-2014, 23:38:45 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (34)

hey all

ive not even collected my gtc yet and already ive got a few things i would like to change kind of sharpish
ive got a gtc sri in white on a 12 plate but unfortunately it dose not have the rear led tail lights nore the newer looking headlights with the
more modern day time running lights which ive seen on some gtcs i think it maybe a added extra possibly ?

im not sure if its possible just to get the headlights and rear lights from vauxhall and fit them or if theres some sort of simular
lights on the market to buy if someone could let me know it would be much apprciated.

gaz

I was on the motorway today doing about 70mph, bit of a car bumper in the road o had to brake and avoid, I braked quite suddenly and the ABS didn't kick in (didn't brake that hard) but the steering wheel shook a bit, is this normal??
