VXOC Astra-J/GTC

Hi guys I have a Astra 2.0 cdti 14 plate and recently it has started making a lot of noise when completely cold on startup but only then. After it’s been started it doesn’t do it at all. I’ve had cam belt don’t and water pump done when I bought the car 6months. Not sure if it’s chain or belt on these and if the tensioner could be at fault or possibly dual mass maybe ?? Any ideas thanks

Mmm ok. I’ll try get a clip. It’s still under warranty till January so I’ll get it into a garage and get it looked at. Can’t think what it could be since it’s a belt. Think the dual mass could cause the issue or possibly aux pulley ?

Mine sometimes make a rattle if it's been stood for a while & cold. last for about 5seconds then fine.

Did you get a new aux belt also?
