hi i am looking into getting an astra elite and i am finding that there are no elites so far without the heated seat issues. is it worth keep looking for a car without the heated seat issue or find one i like and solve the issue later
Hi Give up looking if did find one then it would soon be an issue.

In terms of fixing the fix never lasts long 6-12month then its back again.
thanks for the info rusty i will take that off my check list.
What is the issue?

I have a 2013 Elite (63 reg) with heated leather, and both seats work ok with regard to heating up.

Probably tempted fait now though.

On almost all Drivers seats the seat will turn off after a couple mins very common fault.

I think your find if your seat stays in one position and is very hardly moved your be ok.
So from what I can gather from my research you need to replace the connector to the upgraded version and the heat pad itself yet this repair is only likely to last about 1 year!!!?

The connect is the first thing to try. if that doesn't do it it's a new heatpad.

Nope, not noticed this with mine (or the passenger seat). Had the car 4 years now. Seat rarely gets moved, other than to vacuum under it from time to time.
