As seen on Wheeler Dealers when he did the Range Rover interior parts.
I don't remember seeing it on wheeler dealers mate, mind you I notice the run a new series and cut it off after a couple of shows.
Wheeler dealers also did some wheels and spoiler of a RX7 recently

i had some dipped interior trim bits on the mark 5 and they do look very good
you can actually buy the bits to do this your self but you are best to clear coat when done
i would love a few bits done on the j i may look into this for the alloys :cool
here you go rusty Black Carbon Fibre Hydrographics Film - Rolled In Tube - Dip This | eBay

and the activator http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hydrographics-...4ad3c1c92e

so much more fun and a better result than wrapping
and there are loads of designs to choose
Might get the plastics under my bonnet done blue carbon fibre effect

here is how to do it

DIY camo gun dipping kit hydrographics - YouTube

but you really only need the film and the activator as long as the part is clean before you dip you can use primer for a better result
and clear coat after is a must for protection and new water must be used for each part you dip

My girl friend dipping my bits using mydipkit from http://www.mydipkit.co.uk.mp4 - YouTube
Seen some video's of that stuff the other day. Does look very easy to do. And not as expensive as I 1st thought.
Good video Rusty , a joy to watch. I wonder if they do carbon black. .
Yeh I've seen it done in carbon black before, wonder how long it would last in the elements
you have to use clear coat lacquer over it and it will last
but very hard to fix if you curb the alloys.
interior parts last very well
