Has anybody ever swapped over their fog lights to LED bulbs? It so, is it necessary for the bumper to be removed, or are the fog lights accesable by hand?
What bulbs are they best, as I've been told there H3 fitments. Can this be confirmed
do you have pre-facelift or facelift?
I am also interested in upgrading fog lights. I own a 5 door facelift. OP-Com seams to be useless, only read out failures.
I heard about Happy fog module but dont know if it works an facelift
From a fault-code perspective you can just change them without issue as the BCM doesn't seem to know whether these lights malfunction. So no extra resistor/'canbus compatibility' bullshit required.

I have a 5 door facelift - which uses H11 bulbs. I recently swapped to LED h11 bulbs - mostly plug and play with good fitment and no errors as fogs are not canbus monitored. 2 ways to go about it
1. reaching under the bumper - ok for removing and installing halogen bulbs but LED has bigger housing from heatsink so difficult to put in that way.
2. I then removed the fog light housing in the bumper (2 screws) and pulled out to install. Easy job. Also gives you visibility on where to place your led driver.
