Looking for a bit of info. Thinking of having a go at swapping out the leds in the speedo but just wanted to know if i got a second-hand one of ebay would i be able to do the led conversion and then just fit it back into mine, and would it work?

Yes as Baz said coded to car, as long as the part numbers match and it's been divorced from the car tho it can easily be programmed to your car.

Baz, what white LEDs would you recommend for the speedo display?

You may find them very dull Baz in daylight same make I got for the centre display and you couldn't see it in daylight, fine at night tho.
