Only do rear windows mate, and get it done in summer time as your be less likely to need the rear demist and heaters on.
Window tints speak to Glynn at Auto Asylum
http://autoasylumswindon.co.uk/
Unsure on how dark to go as Tucpal said his auto dimming mirror no longer works

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
do not go over 18% tint i have the dark 25% tint and it is real bad at night Wink_1
I've got 18% and my auto dim mirror still works
Edit edit
It will work with 18% tint
just not on my limo black tint 25%
Limo black does look the best on red and black cars IMHO.
agreed but it takes some getting use to at night Lol
Did the garage sort or the niggles out?
Not yet mate Tuesday they will be

updated thread Smile
Have you found out the details on that tracker mate?
I have tints on mine. I don't know what percentage mind you. My auto dim mirror doesn't work sometimes, but there has been occasions when it's activated because of bright lights coming through the tints.

looking good mate
Looks awesome dude! So decided to keep the car then I take it. Also are the hested seat controls always at the top on elites? On mine with the module I bought they are at the bottom of the module
they have different positions on the climate control you have the standard air-con
Ahhh fair enough then Smile I like to know all these little things Wink
Yeah chosen to keep the car as carshop wanted £2,500 off me which £850 of that was mileage charges.

After a few weeks today i have made major progress. Carshop has finally said we will let vaxuhall sort out everything.
So I have pointed out all the issues with the car and they are paying for it all. Even parts I ordered last week to fix the oil leak from the turbo.
Mileage charges!?!? Robbing gits! Especially whern they sold you a car with faults! Annoys me that does, don't care once they have the money from you. No way!!! Result there then eh! Big grin just a shame you had to go through all that! But glad you've made progress with it all Smile
I have also choosen not to push for just a facelight bumpers but any pre or facelift which parking sensor holes.

if i stick to pre unsure which to go for

I've not seen any pre's with the chrome badgeless grill. Would look good against the red.
They were charging you that to avoid you taking it back. No doubt. Oh well at least they're going to let vauxhall deal with it. Would have been cheaper for them to take the car back but win for you!

So thanks to the help of @cornishtaz we replace my standard preface lift bumper for a better look facelift bumper.

So first was of course to remove rear bumper
[Image: RB1_zpsjnirc5ku.jpg]

Then remove the old support brackets, need to also remove the crash bar with a 15ml socket.

Then fit the new support brackets, also needed to drill an extra hole for the side supports. Once middle two are one can refit the crash support.

End result
[Image: RB8_zpsckziwm3a.jpg]

Chrome Look Finish On Switches
[Image: Switches_zpsjwubiwvc.jpg]

Think they look alight to be fair.
Nice upgrades [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
Xenon's is next on the list now, so with the help of rusty this is going to be the best upgrade by far.. I have got the car booked in for window tints but unsure on the shae still at moment its 20% Im having thinking of going for 25%
20% will be fine to be honest my tints are to dark
I thought you had 20% Tucpal
Think there 25%
Best thing to do mate is to get them show you samples they should have a section of each cut that can put to glass to show you.

Get a sun strip done while your there as it will only cost a little more.
25% is lighter than 20%?!

I've got 15% and wish I'd got 5% limo as mine don't look very dark lol.
20% on mine

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got limo black
Couldn't tell you what I've got as they were already like that but they look pretty dark from a distance and up close

Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk
Some tinted % are different my 25 % is basically limo black some say % by shade and others by light that can get through you are best to see it first then make your own mind up [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

That really does look like my car a few years back [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
Mine?

Yep before I upgraded the bumper [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
Would be bizzare if it used to be yours. I know the previous owner lived in Nottingham.

Last week I had to drive to Wales and on the way back thought Id take some pictures. Shame the car was as clean as Id liked but only the wheel let it down to be fair, but it was 299 miles round trip and only used half a tank with an average 52.5MPG

Grate pic looking good [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
