Have you any rust on your Astra J ?
As I am someone who is the wrong side of 50, I can remember the days when cars would rust quite badly at a relatively early age.
Vauxhalls these days seem to be fairly well protected from rust, but what I'd like to ask is :

Have you had any trouble with rust on your Astra ?
What are any potential problem areas ?
Has anyone had any rustproofing done on their car ?

Choosing your own repairer
Choosing your own repairer.

Hi,

I was contacted recently by one of the clubs we work with. They were concerned about the issue of 'approved repairers' and they wanted to know what our insurer partners' stance would be.

Clearly, most car club members wouldn't want just anyone repairing their pride & joy - you probably have a preferred bodyshop in mind already as you're reading this. And this is where the issue lies.

If you have an accident and want to use your preferred bodysho

Tyres - what have you got on your car ?
My Astra will soon be needing a couple of tyres, and at 235 45 r18 size they won't be cheap.
I don't like to use cheap tyres, they are often dangerous in the wet, but on the other hand I don't much fancy paying £150 a tyre for premium tyres either.
What kind of tyres are you using and what do you think of them...?

You can change all that and maybe win a prize in the process...

Bluetooth music streaming - does it work in your Astra...?
Hi everyone, I have a question for everyone who uses streaming music from mobile to car radio via Bluetooth. I just bought an Astra J, year 2014, with the Navi900 system. I lived in the belief that this year, sending music from a mobile phone to a car radio is a matter of course. If I haven't missed something, I can't. The car radio has been paired with the mobile phone without any problems and the hands-free mode with the telephone works without any problems. But when I want to send music from
