The new model astra: my time with astra has ended
Being in the market for another car, I read with interest that PSA has announced an engine & tech refresh to the Astra.

I love my J, it's an amazing workhorse.

So I was very, very disappointed to read the engine options from PSA:

Petrol - 1.2 & 1.4, all 3 cylinder options
Diesel: 1.5 unspecified cylinders.

Well. I was looking at a petrol, as it's a city short journey runner, but I despise the 3 cylinder. Had one before and never, ever again! Bugger that.

19” Sri wheel with tyres
Just recieved my car yesterday but want to down size my 19” to 18”

What would they be worth?

They have some minor rim marks and scuffs but nothing excessive. Tyres are very good treads.

Just looking at what they would bring and what to swap them for?

Any advice?[Image: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2019072...b65120.jpg]

Spanner Light illuminated with engine off
Hi all

Bit of a strange one. I purchased a 2013 Astra J 1.7 CDTI last September, and had a service light pop up every time the ignition was switched on. However after pressing the set/clr button on the end of the stalk it vanished and would reappear again only after the engine was switched off and restarted. I just assumed since the car was serviced before I got it the garage hadn't reset the indicator and never thought anything of it. Jumped in the car tonight and it popped up again only now
