Hey guys and girls just thought I would post looking for some advice.  Got a 2010 Astra j Sri with 35k on the. Lock and recently I've been having a service vehicle soon message pop up more frequently. Tried a mate's code reader but I don't believe it was up to much as it didn't find anything. This coincides with sometimes the engine fan is on 100% at hot and cold start.

Has this happened to anyone else? I get a sort of burning smell in the vents at times also.

Car is the Meriva B 1.7CDTI the 130bhp model, been faultless pretty much, had a new battery a few months ago, Anyway its been coming up with the service vehicle soon message every now and again, but i gather that is for fault codes to be read? it doesn't show up all the time...

Would really appreciate some help with this one, my Astra J has developed a weird electrical fault. Most of the exterior lights have stopped working except for the middle brake light and high beams, the interior lights have stopped, the central locking, fans and rear window washer as well. This all happened at the same time, I get lights on the dash saying that I need to check the bulbs but that doesn't make sense with everything stopping at once. I've had it to a couple of garages

So my friend cooked his gtc 1.6 turbo and ive just stripped it got head skimmed and rebuilt with new gaskets.

The engine starts but soon after it starts to run a bit lumpy. I can rev is but hear a slight miss.

Now i am not sure why this air hole is in the rocker cover but i can clearly hear it sucking air in. And if i put my finger over it it sucks it in.
Can u tell me if this is normal please?.

Hi all
I am quite new at this forum, so this is my first poost and I hope not break any rules.
In the last days I noticed my Astra is making some weird noise. It seems there is some broken piece inside and quite often creates this `crack` sound. 
The car is an ASTRA J 1.4 turbo 140cv with 67.000km
I want able to attach the video, but I share a google drive link where you can watch and hear the noise.
