Gran Problema!

Driving home one night, turns corner and discovers traction control light (stability control) has come on (amber). Stops car. Engine management light comes on. Oh dear! Turn car off to try and reset. Will no longer start. Don't get me wrong, it tries! It cranks and turns pistons and shafts but will not actually fire up.

Called GreenFlag, came out and scanned the OBDII. Sanner claimed misfire on cylinder#2 but no other faults detected. So, off to euro car

My Stop start hasn't worked for some time, it will occasionally work once after a long run.
Will charging the battery help?
Is this charger OK for a 2012 2.0 CDTI start stop battery?

A16XER engine I have replaced the head gasket and now it wont start. I know its going to be something silly that ive done but my brain is fried!
Turns over ok, P0016 & P0017 stored which relates to the correlation between CMP and CKP sensors. Ive checked timing, compression, fuel and spark but still wotn start.
Any ideas?

Hi all today I drove to widnes stopped the car for a couple of hours then went to start the car and it ran for a second then cut out.... I tried to restart but the starter didn't turn over then after 30seconds it started fine.

The only thing I did was when I started I didnt let the glow plugs light go out I was rushing.

Is this something going wrong or just a one off thanks.

Did change fuel filter, dident fill up de filter with diesel and now i have problem starting.
Someone post a picture of a sqrew to turn a half turn. That worked last timme but now the picture is gone.

Someone know what screw?

hi folks new to the forum got a problem with start up on my 2.0 astra j cdti 
When i been on a journey and car is up to temp 90c when i start the car again after say 5 minutes the engine starts up like it want to shake itself to death not smooth at all have check with scan tool no fault are showing has anybody got some idea what it could be please

My car wont start anymore after i cleaned the EGR and suction control valve (scv) and the MAP sensor. the last thing that happened was whistle turbo sound from the engine and it went to ''reduced power mode'' when i sae that i parked the car it i dint turn on since.. but before all that i was haveing with power and stalling issues for the last month and after some internet research i begend to clean the sensors.

Hi, I’m new to the forum, never really had to ask for help as everything’s on here but I have a problem I can’t find an answer to. I have a 2010 2.0D Astra J that won’t start when it’s cold. Initially I thought it was the battery and have replaced that. I then changed the glow relay and plugs and I’m still having trouble when it’s cold. It will start with easy start (I know I shouldn’t use it in a diesel) but after using that it will continue starting all day until the engine gets cold again. I
