STEP ONE.....

Pull out the Door Seal just by the side of the Glove Box
to gain Access to the side Trim so it can be Removed.

So i thought id show you guys how to change the glove box bulb for a nice w5w 501 smd bulb, i used one with 12 smds.

Blunt knife of plastic lever
New bulb

Replace steering wheel airbag
Hi all.

Currently in the process of rebadging my GTC to Opel blitz from the griffin.

The steering wheel I found out however is not just a case of replacing the plastic badge, but the airbag.  Dealer want around £500 for a new one.

Was gonna just not bother (or get a sticker!), but then I found this:

Replace CD300 with DVD800 NAVI
Hello everyone!
Today I began doing the impossible
My Insignia (Edition - 2nd trim) came from factory with CD300. And because I had a very good deal I bought a complete DVD800 NAVI (display, buttons, all cables possible, from the armrest also the cables and the plugs with USB etc).
But as I know it would need programing aftet the hard wiring install. And for programming it would request the code from Opel. Would Opel give me the code or not?

my dshcam plug has broken off flush with the power outlet socket (just the spring loaded metal connector)
I cannot seem to get it out, any idea easiest way to get to the outlet (Fuse 6 I believe) and repair/replace it ?

Options to replace Navi 400 in 62 plate Astra
Hi there


I've recently bought a second hand 62 plate sri turbo, and loving the car overall. Was buying second hand so didn't have a huge amount of choice in relation to optional extras etc!

However, I've got the basic navi 400 without bluetooth connectivity. It's all a bit too basic, and I'm planning to keep this car for a few years, so looking at options to replace the infotainment system.

Changing Rear Shock Absorbers. Astra-J Hatch. Replace or reuse bottom bolts?
Hi folks,

I'm about to change the rear shocks on my car, and according to the info on the Vauxhall workshop manuals website the bottom bolt that connects the shock to the suspension arm should not be reused, but a new one fitted.

The torque settings given are to tighten initially to 150 Nm, and then tighten a further 65 degrees. This suggests to me that it's a stretch bolt. Am I correct?
