I have been doing some hunting around for a HID kit for my Astra GTC. Seems like most the information is around on the forum in various threads over the years but nothing that makes it 100% clear (at least to me).

Am I right in saying the following?

1. Astra GTC have the correct headlight units as standard (projectors) to allow legal installation of HID's?
2. You should get the 35w HID kit otherwise there may be MOT issues?
3. The bulbs you need are HIR2 (9012) and NOT H7's.

I have just picked up my 2016 GTC limited edition 1.6CDTI and have a few questions.

Did this model of GTC come from the factory with lower suspension if so how many mm is it dropped by compared to other models?

I have the 20" alloys and feel it sits a little too high but don't want to wreck the ride by lowering it by too much if I decide to lower it. What springs would most people recommend?

Would springs from a VXR fit as it looks to sit the perfect hight?

Thinking of getting a VXR for a few years before we all end up driving Milk Floats

1. Looking for one in Arden Blue, why are they so scarce?
2. What's the average MPG for a VXR (without any silliness chasing BMw's) ? :-)
3. Are all VRX full leather interior or are some part leather?

Morning Folks,

Purchased a 12 - Astra J - 2.0CDTi (Elite) a few months back.  Not really had much time for questions, Xmas, COVID, etc etc.

Anyway 

1.  I have the Service Vehicle Soon message, which I believe is a Non Emissions error.  I don't mind taking it to the local Garage, but was wondering if people can suggest a relatively cheap ODBC Reader (Ideally phone connection) so I can read these sort of messages?  Couldn't afford Tech2, and as much as I would like to avoid buying a lapto
