I have got a chance to buy a set of headlights at a knockdown price, they are usually sold on eBay for all astra J's but I have noticed something that has got me scratching my head...

The listing says the headlights have integrated indicators, where the low beam is usually located on the unit. The listing says... 'Black interior with clear, unpatterned lens. I'm new here and sure I'm going to appreciate all the advice you will give for the foreseeable future!

I bought a 1.4 Petrol 63 J GTC about 4 months ago but due to the terrible economy i seemed to get from it (approx 28mpg on my 50 mile motorway commute) the dealership agreed to swap it out for the diesel version. So i now have a 63 2.0 SRi Diesel which I'm much happier with and I'm getting about 45mpg now.

On the older petrol version i had (i think) a CDR 400 "something" head

On other forums, I enquired about changing my trip computer from this:

I did use Vauxcom which added a few menu items, but was unable to achieve the triple info display.

Is this a possibility?

Hi All, I have a 2016 GTC. I have been undersealing the inner front wings and noticed a piece of hardened rubber block that is attached to three of the coils. It pushes in to place and seems to hold three of the coils a set distance apart. Its the same on both front road springs. Has anyone come across this or know what purpose (if any) they serve ? Any advice would be gratefully received. I need to put the car back together tomorrow and am not sure if I should refit them. Many thanks, Ed

My Astra is a 2011 model on a 60 plate and has a 1.7 cdti (125) engine. The mileage is sitting at 58k right now. When should the timing belt be changed and are there any pumps etc that need looked at at the same time?

After some digging about on the internet i seem to be coming up with loads of different answers to my question. 100k/10 years 100k/6 years 60k/6 years. Obviously i don't want to get it done the now if its a 100y/10k ratio. Hopefully someone on here can help.
