I had my 2013 Astra 2.0cdti in for service last week and was told it had a recall to "upgrade the cars software". I've since learned this is an upgrade to the ECM software.

Since the service it simply does not feel like the same car. I'm having to change down gears to get up hills I've driven everyday without the need previously for example. 

Does anyone know what is involved in this upgrade and if it could have altered my car's performance? I believe the upgrade may have something

Just curious as to what performance mods were available for the 1.6t. I don't here about this engine much and modifications are even rarer.

I'm currently planning what I want done so I can start putting together an order of things to do and so far my list is:

1) Exhaust (still to decide cat back/ full system etc)
2) Intake
3) FMIC
4) Stage 2 Remap

but I was wondering if there's anything extra I can do to get a bit more out of her. Any body know of anyone fitting bigger tur

Hi all I’ve recently bought a 2011 Astra j 2.0 cdti sri and I would like some help please. I want to improve performance and power and was wondering where a can get performance parts or even if I actually need to get performance parts such as turbocharger, air filter, radiator, inter cooler, fuel injectors, coil overs and any other parts I may need. Going to take the plunge for my first remap on a car.

Wanted to stick to either Rabbid or Courtney remap.

Spoke to them all and have decided to go for a Rabbid tune (now the tuning society).

They have outsources thier software to many companies.

WG in Kent and Wayside in Coventry.

Seems as Wayside is nearest I have decided to go with them! (Chirs)
