Had a quick search on here couldn't find much. Could somebody shed some light on park pilot. If I'm right in thinking it's like the ford parking system where you
Control the speed and the car scans the gap and reverses it in.??? All your help is appreciated many thanks

Has anybody got a 5-door with Advanced park assist?

I have front and rear parking sensors but I want to retrofit Advance park assist.

Looking on EPC there seems to be to different looms for the front sensors but looking at the wiring there is no difference between parking sensors and Advanced park assist.

The back end seems to no change apart from the outer sensors need to be different.

So recently i have noticed when i press the park assist button it no longer displays on dash "park assist on" but if i turn it off it will say the off...

Anyone any idea how to solve this please?

We today have had battery off for other things today and that hasnt reset issue.

I'm testing the water here to see if anyone wants a meet up at the Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire on Friday 15th May about 11am. There is a cafe and coffee bar on site to grab a brew and a good place to hook up. There may be a few Aston Martins testing their cars on the circuit due to the Annual Aston Martin owners club race day the day after on Sat 16th May.

Overtime my car is on auto stop and then i press the clutch to get going agin this message always comes up. EVERY single time this happens without fail. the car is only 3 weeks old so its a bit weird... anyone had this before?

Hello all. Newbie here and also to Astra J (2011) so excuse me if the questions are quite stupid : have park assist in my Astra, front and rear  sensors. From the infotainment system it is activated. When I switch to reverse it notifies on the drivers screen that park assist is on. I have never noticed the front sensors working. If I try to press the button on the dashboard it only flashes a few times and its off again. Tried to read whenever I have found a thread for this but nothing popped o

Has anyone retrofitted front and rear parking sensors?

Not the ones from Ebay etc (although they'll work fine) but the proper Vauxhall setup?

Its something that I'm really missing and could with?

Whilst I'm asking can anyone advice on rear camera too?

My meriva (B, 2011) has had a rear end shunt at some time, and had a replacement bumper,  car was specc'd to have the full front and rear park pilot,  it has the button on dash, but it's dead, 

the rear has a cheapo reversing sensor system installed, and i wanted to re-establish the factory park pilot system sometime.. i first thought the front bumpers been replaced too, and has no sensors in it... but no, the sensors are there and still wired up,  then i removed some trim panels in the boot,
