Hello all. Newbie here and also to Astra J (2011) so excuse me if the questions are quite stupid : have park assist in my Astra, front and rear  sensors. From the infotainment system it is activated. When I switch to reverse it notifies on the drivers screen that park assist is on. I have never noticed the front sensors working. If I try to press the button on the dashboard it only flashes a few times and its off again. Tried to read whenever I have found a thread for this but nothing popped o

Hi all stumbled across the site through aoc,
Picked up my Astra today (62) 2.0 cdti sri in red with 19" think it's turbo alloys.
Had lots of Vauxhalls over the years and after only have the car less than 24hours I think this is my favourite!
Hope to learn bit more about the car and possibly do few little bit to it!

Just thought I would introduce myself.

I have a 63plate Astra GTC 1.4 Turbo Auto.

My previous car was a Corsa Sting R which I had to trade in due to having an accident so cant drive manuals without pain.

I always loved the look of the GTC and wish I bought one instead of the Corsa.

Anyway plans are just wind deflectors and a panel filter, I know it wont do much but hopefully sound better.

Also see if a remap can help get the mpg to where it should be as i'm only getti

Owned 6 or 7 Astra's, still got two MK4's but am now very seriously looking at a GTC as mine is getting a bit long in the tooth (221,000+ miles)

I have a white Astra GTC SRI 1.6 looking to do minor modifications but nothing too much.

Im looking to buy a GTC shortly and im wanting the 2.0 cdti. just curious as to what sort of things i should look for when buying and also what sort of options do people recommend the car has.

Im also unsure about getting a manual or auto as im not sure how good the auto is in the astra  Any help would be greatly appriatiated
