I am picking up my Astra today, I opted for the 2.0 diesel SRI. I have had an older Astra and Vectra c and never had any problems with them so I am hoping for the same with this one. 

I am from Cannock in the west midlands. look forward to joining in some of the conversations on here and doing some small mods to the car.

My son-in-law recently bought a 13plate 1.7cdti Tourer.

Its been in my garage for the last week so I've carried out a few mods.

i need a new rear bumper and was thinking that the standard one is quite plain. does anyone know if there is a better bumper available or something with a diffuser type extension.

I have got a chance to buy a set of headlights at a knockdown price, they are usually sold on eBay for all astra J's but I have noticed something that has got me scratching my head...

The listing says the headlights have integrated indicators, where the low beam is usually located on the unit. The listing says... 'Black interior with clear, unpatterned lens. Following on from my other thread, where I was asking for advice about an Astra-J, you guys gave me some great feedback and pretty much turned me away from the 1.7 CDTI when I was on the verge of buying one...so thank you and hope thats a decision that serves me well.
