Hoping for many hassle-free miles and if I don't this looks like the perfect place to get advice on how to solve problems.

I’ve owned my 2011 Meriva for 18 months been getting a little bored with it recently and looking at other cars (Astra, Mokka, Insignia) but not seen anything that grabs me enough to want to trade in the Meriva.... (did see other Meriva‘s with heated seats and steering wheel that would be nice in winter, maybe there’s a retrofit guide on here somewhere).[/co

Hey all. New member and new Astra owner here.
Picked up my 2.0 CDTI Elite yesterday and love it!! After my last car died I did a lot of research trying to decide what to replace it with and this forum helped me a lot, so far very happy with my decision!!

Appreciate all the help and advice the members of this forum give, already looking at some upgrades etc for the new car so no doubt will be picking some brains very soon!

Just joined this site after a day of googling for OEM mud flaps.

I drive an Astra GTC 1.6 Turbo SRi 200.

Live in North East Scotland and mainly into cars, photography, cars, motorsports, cars, cars, roadtrips, detailing cars, cars and alcohol (not at the same time obviously). Work sometimes get in the ways of all this but needs must I suppose

Just introducing myself, recently purchased an Astra J SRi 2015 1.4T and hopefully picking it up today or tomorrow, getting a fresh mot and service before I collect it. Noticed this forum has a lot of very detailed information hoping I'd become a regular user here. Been looking at any common faults or things to look out for with this particular model. Any suggestions on what I should look out for when I pick it up?

i got another Astra 2.0 SRI CDTI 2011

came as standard with CD500 Nav, DAB, Bluetooth and front and rear parking sensors in what I think is a nice colour.

have upgraded the Nav to a Navi900 and DAB+ and added reverse camera

next step was auto wipers and lights which is now complete although im not happy with the gel pad as its got some bubbles.

I bought a 13 reg Astra J  1.7 diesel 3 years ago & I need a new battery..
Is it a straight swap in & out or are there any nuances I need to know before I change? Alarm/door lock/anti theft etc etc

I dont know if my car has a stop start system because it never worked but would not surprise me if it had it?
Is there any way of know whether a car has stop/start system or not
