Sat nav Update info
Sat Nav update discs.
When purchased they are sold as Hardware and Software.
The hardware is the update of the Sat Nav, A New Firmware version.
The Software is the Map Program itself.
How to install a Map Update (The manual isn't clear on this and no instructions are given with the disc)

1. Insert the New Map CD into the CD player.
2. The screen will show that there's an update for the firmware.
3. Click Install.
4. It will ask if you wish to over write the Flash in the memory, click okay to do

How to install Sat Nav to a safe location
This little gadget seems too obvious for me to post it online and technically it isn't a 'how to' guide. However, I'm sure there are drivers on this forum who may just have overlooked this idea so I'm posting it in case it helps someone.

Updating Bi Turbo Sat nav
@Tucpal @hev - sorry mate i couldnt reply to the other thread but i think the only way to update the 950 is to take it in for a software update which apparantley they only do 2-3 times a year as the navi 950 doesnt have an sd card that you can access. If it uses one its probably built in or behind it which you'd have to take it all apart to get too.

sat nav antennas
Are there different sat nav antennas?  i mean i imagine they will be different for the different cars, but do they all work the same?

I pulled this one off an astra in the scrappers, not sure what radio it had as it was gone,  but the antenna has 3 connections... all those fakra types... so i presume it's got fm, dab and sat nav?
