Third break light/High level break light
Hi, my third brake light has gone out, also known as the high level brake light on my 5 door Astra J (2012).

I have read the forum and the following link, https://www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-Hig...rake+light. But there isn't a walk-through on how to actually remove this. I've googled it and know where can I find a walk-through on how to do this this looks really difficult as mentioned by people on here and other forums. I would really appreciate it if someone

Trip Computer on Mid-Level Display?
Hi there,

I have noticed loads of different dis-activated lights on my mid-level display, one of which is a light of a fuel pump.

Does anyone know if there is a mpg/trip computer that can be turned on in the mid level J display? I wouldn't see that Vauxhall would put lights and things in there if they didn't do anything.

Cheers in advance

Add low-level tulp jack to headunit
I had installed my audio amplifier using a high/low-converter because the standard radio doesn't come with low-level RCA/tulp outputs. Disappointed by the signal quality I decided to see whether we could just grab the low-level inputs before they hit the amplifier in the headunit.

Bad news for me was that the unit is really hard to disassemble beyond a certain point. I couldn't get a view of the amplifier circuit until I removed the metal shield/frame on the backside of the unit. This was sol

Oil Level
When reading the oil level my dipstick has two plain segments sandwiched between two hatched segments.

Where is the ideal level. Should the top hatched segment be covered with oil or should the oil stop at the division between the plain segment and the top hatched segment?

Hi, could anyone give me a link for some PLCC-2 side view LED’s in bright white? I’m going to change them in my up level display and looking on eBay and can only see surface mounted ones unless I’m missing something

DPF Level App
I don't know if anyone has used this but I stumbled across it today and is showing to be working when Paired to my ELM 327 Bluetooth OBD Dongle, basically it shows the DPF Soot level, distance since last regen and DPF temperature. Very handy if you want to keep an eye on things. The app is called OPL DPF Monitor Lite and is free in the Playstore. I've attached a screenshot of it working today on my 2.0 CDTI.
