Joined up here and on Facebook as Jonathan told me about both!

Have come from a 1.4 turbo grande punto and the Astra is much more refined, nicer to drive and be in! However it's not as quick, it lacks the torque my punto had due to the fact it was modified and running 180bhp and a lot more torque

Purchased new in 2013 , Opel Astra J Sports Tourer 1.6 Turbo Petrol 6sp auto (Select Variant here in Australia - equivalent to a SE/Elite)

Summary of modifications:
1. white LED interior lights
2. Genuine Opel/GM glove box shelf
3. Generic boot liner cut to size
4. white LED number plate lights

Hi friends,
I got myself A Astra J 64 plate, love my car
the CD unit is cd400 but it a port for the aux but not USB and the pressing the phone it just mutes the system, my Q is am i able to get a usb and be able to connect this to my cd400 and my IPhone to work? can you friends point me in the right direction mybe provide me with some pics or video to set this up, 
or do i have to get a different cd system that has usb, i would like to get the bluetooth on this as its all in my Steering wheel

As I am someone who is the wrong side of 50, I can remember the days when cars would rust quite badly at a relatively early age.
Vauxhalls these days seem to be fairly well protected from rust, but what I'd like to ask is :

Have you had any trouble with rust on your Astra ?
What are any potential problem areas ?
Has anyone had any rustproofing done on their car ?

Hi all I have a 2010 Astra j 1.4 petrol ( non turbo ) which has just started playing up. Whilst driving warning lights come on the dash as can be seen in the first image, the speedo and the odometer stop working. This will then clear then start again. Then sometimes the power steering stops working and the lights on the dash are as in image 2. This can then clear and the cycle repeats itself. This is happening more frequently but does not happen all the time :s. Through googling this the only th
