Can anyone help me please.

I'm stuck in bootloader mode in my Insignia.

I was trying to upgrade from my navi 600 to navi 900.

If i cant get the upgrade ill have to replace the unit - can this be done and do i need to replace it all or just the cd or ?

Please help asap.

Wondering if anyones had this before? 
2011 meriva B (1.3 cdti) CD400 with GID, 
always been getting the following code on the radio: U0074

The other 2 codes are for the IPC, as im still messing with it...

but i was getting that U0074 code when i only had an op-com for diagnosis, so it's not the clone tech2 giving a fake code, and i was getting it before i ever touched anything electrical in the car.

The Tech2 gives an option to do a can bus re-learn on most module

My car being a 2011 meriva, uses Tech 2 for diagnostics, it's not on GDS2 untill the 2014 model year, but not on the Tech2's onboard SPS list,  so i have to SPS from my netbook with GlobalTis 32b on it, using the Tech2 - J2534 passthru mode. 

But i've so far bought an IPC, a TIM and a PDC module (and a rain sensor.. but i know that's not vin matched) all were just removed from vehicles, not divorced, and when first connected they say 'mismatched vins'

But i just do a 'configure and set up'

So when driving I rest my foot on the rest bar & every know and then I can feel the steering wheel through it (sounds daft but I genuinely can) the steering wheel also makes a weird sound occasionally like a piece of leather being twisted.

Only done this since a mate changed my oil filter by just jacking the car up & going in via driver side wheel.

Think he's knocked something?

I've recently bought a second hand 62 plate sri turbo, and loving the car overall. Was buying second hand so didn't have a huge amount of choice in relation to optional extras etc!

However, I've got the basic navi 400 without bluetooth connectivity. It's all a bit too basic, and I'm planning to keep this car for a few years, so looking at options to replace the infotainment system.

I'm hoping someone might be able to let me know what is available in terms of other vauxhall/op

I hope someone here has seen this before because I have been through the owners manual and googled quite a bit with no luck.

I have a 2010 Astra (J) SRI.

Next to the cig lighter to the right I have the 3.5mm Aux in socket.

On the opposite side (where the USB would be if included) there is another socket (see pics) and I have no idea what it's for.

Looking in there with a torch it looks like it has metal contacts for power of some kind.

I have a problem with my 2012 Astra gtc 1.7 cdti sport 40.000 miles I have owened it for about 6 months now and all is good except that about 6 weeks ago code 54 WATER IN FUEL FILTER came up and then it whent a way but in the last 2 to 3 weeks it comes on at each startup, then after 5 mins it has gone off, So I decided to change the fuel filter the car seems to go a lot better but I still get CODE 54 COME UP each time I start up, can anyone tell me what it could be and what to try next. My Astra has a leak in the boot, where the spare wheel is. The boot itself is dry. But there is damp on the back seat and the passenger footwellis wet.

I have just taken it to my local Vauxhall Dealer, they did tests all day, could not find out where the leak was. They said they would need to take out the carpet, seats and take off the bumper to find out more. Would be 6 hours labour. Im picking the car up tomorrow. It would cost over £400 before any parts.

Any ideas?  Thanks
