Hi all. New to the forums, of course. My name's Matthew. Just recently got myself an Astra J on a 60 plate. Being 18 it's a 1.3CDTI which does me just fine in terms of insurance and tax costs! I have the Exclusiv model but plan to make some subtle changes and modifications on top of what I've already done to make it look a bit nicer, especially seeing as I don't even have a set of alloys on it at the mo!

Good afternoon guys, came across this forum the other day and I've not been away from it since tbh. Loads of great info and guides, i can see it being very valuable. I'm based in the west coast of Scotland and have owned a Mk1, Mk3 (blugh) a Mk4 and now a Mk6 Astra. My Mk4 is a 51 plate and still going strong, hopefully the Astra J will last as long. I've bought my 1.6T SRI just over a month ago.  Had a few hiccups thus far but otherwise happy with the purchase.  Seems the 1.6T is a bit unloved and everyone prefers the diesels lol.
