Hello from Aldershot
Hi, I recently bought a 64 plate Astra J 2.0 CDTI S/S Elite and mainly loving it. I've joined this forum as it seems a friendly and informative place.
I already changed the DRLs to the PIAA ones as the yellowey lights just didn't look right, and my next mod I am planning is to get one of the android head units from Iceboxautos. I was gobsmacked when I realised my supposedly top-of-the-range car didn't even come with Bluetooth, so replacing the HU will bring it up to date, and add plenty more
Hello from the SW
Hi,
Obviously this will be an introduction (I know who'd have thought it, an introduction in the introduction forum, whatever next...)
I was looking for info on an aftermarket Android Auto HU for my 2012 Astra GTC SRI and stumbled across this forum and thought it looked like a good place to spend some time
I freely acknowledge I know very little about cars and am not particularly DIY minded (unless it's to do with computers then it's another matter) so I'm looking forward to reading
Hello from the South East

If anyone knows anything about these drop me a message not sure what to do with it!

Hello from North Lincolnshire
Hi
Just joined the site to look round the forum for advice on the Astra GTC. Not looking to buy one until next year, but thought I would get clued up on any issues or what to look for. I will probably go for a 1.4 or 1.6 petrol turbo limited edition. Also looking at Cascadas, but not too many around and prices are a bit higher. Any GTC buying advice gratefully received. Always been a Vauxhall fan and the wife currently has an Insignia Tourer Elite. I think I got the Vauxhall bug because my da

Hello from another leacher!
Hi Guys,
Literally the proud new owner of a 2013 Astra 2.0CDTI Ecoflex Elite, moving on from a Seat Leon so getting used to the changes!
I'm not what you would call a car modder, however having owned it for one day I've already decided that the head unit has got to go, will probably look in to getting one of the android head units installed instead.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello, was only joking about the leaching! Most likely see you in the ICE sub forum!
Cheers,
Ste

Hi guys, just recently picked up a 2013 SRI Astra J and am really pleased with how well the 1.6i petrol performs. It's a big upgrade from what I am used to and glad I could finally get an astra after looking for one for a very long time[Image:

Hello from Sunny Skipton
Hi Everyone,
So I would like to say HI to everyone on the site. I am very recently a Astra driver. The wife and I are expecting twins from mid-September.
We have had to trade in her 5dr Corsa D to get a much bigger car that I keep calling "The Daddy Wagon", much to her disgruntlement as she keeps reminding me that my car is worth nothing (2002 Audi A3 1.8t). I try and remind her that if we weren't having twins she could have kept her car...but I get the blame for the Twins as well

Hello from Glasgow
Hi, all.
As i say, from sunny Glasgow.
Recently, been needing to become a two car family, so traded our '16 Pug 2008 (as much as folks take the piss, ive never had a bad pug) in for a couple of Astra's. My better half opted for a newer model '17 plate, which she loves.
Myself, I'm picking mine up tomorrow night. '12 plate Astra sports tourer 1.7 cdti (125). So, here i am , mooching around to see what the score is with these, whats doable, whats not, what i can achieve myself, what ill
