Hi with the new mot if I retro fit projects in to my headlight will they still pass a mot as long as the beam is correct

I'm in need of a new headlight assembly on the driver's side of my 2013 J Sports Tourer (A16LET engine & standard non-Xenon non-adaptive headlights.)
I'm browsing through listings on eBay etc, however there seems to be a distinction between 'Sport' and 'non-Sport' models when it comes to compatibility. 
I'm a bit thrown by this as I'm in Australia where the J was sold under the short-lived Opel brand with no 'Sport' model in the lineup. Can anyone shed a bit of light on what a Sp

Hi guys,

Finally got the LED headlights in yesterday.

Seemed to work fine with no errors but this morning on the way to work the dash said "check right dipped beam lamp" then the same with the left.

Not really an issue until the right one went out. Then the left one. Turned the lights off a minute then back on and they worked for a minute then the right one seems to keep going out.

Any ideas on what to check? I'll add a few pics

Hi, newbie here.
I have an Astra J 2013 Ltd Ed which originally came with LED DRLs from factory (black insert headlights). This car had front end damage so both headlights smashed and I'm having trouble finding some for a decent price currently they're ~£120 per headlight in decent used condition. That's the least of my problems but need a solution, still have the Ltd Ed bumper to repair which is thermoset polyurethane.

Struggling to find information online. The dipped headlights for my Astra GTC are terrible(hard to see 3meters infront of the car when driving on dark roads), the full beam is pretty bad too but I'm lead to believe these lights are from the same bulb in this model. Has anybody replaced these bulbs with LED ones and if so could you recommend which bulb you used or even reliable manufacturer, seeing so many different types and a wide range of prices, would like to get good ones without having to
