Hi, i have just got myself an astra gtc 2016 model.

Its my first turbo car and i want to hear the turbo blow off.

I dont want to install a BOV so i just need a good air filter but obviously i can't slap a k&n on there because of the electrics.

Is there a airfilter i can get so i can here the turbo blow off?

Just now got in my car to go to my dads to pick up some post and I pressed the VXR button to no avail! 


The dials have not turned red and the throttle/suspension has not changed? It also seems the dials didn't quite look normal upon restarting. The battery is at 14.3v currently..

Thought this might be a bargain for somebody, I bought a set last week and got them for 28 pounds

Hi all .....I've had my car now for a month or so .... Today I got up bright and early .... ... First off I gave it a wash then I clay barred it before applying a super resin polish ...

Next job was to 5d Carbon wrap my mirror covers as they are marked with stone chips etc

Hi All

Always felt my GTC 6spd box was a bit notchy 1st-2nd, well yesterday it finally became a more serious issue and now the car will not hold in 2nd under any load it just wants to jump back into neutral so nursed it home doing 1st - 3rd changes and dumped it on the drive.

I've built gearboxes before but not for anything Vauxhall - I have seen pics of gearboxes rebuilt in situ by removing the wheel, arch and casing to reveal gear clusters but I think that was an earlier astra possibly w

i've had my (Astra 1.4 Turbo)for a year now, in my 1st year i had to have a black box for my insurance as i was 18 now im 19 just renewed my insurance and don't have box any more.
I haven't really done many modifications but have a lot of ideas and need your guy help.

Its all a work in progress and i will keep up

Hi all,

I'm trying to find some information on fitting a set of 20 inchers to my Astra J Sports Tourer. Do any of you know if this is possible? Will I have to modify the vehicle in any way to achieve this?

I test drove an Insignia ST (before buying the Astra ST) and it had 20inch rims on it that really tied the car together. I've had a look around at some photos of 19" on some 5 doors

I have a 2012 astra gtc with 27000 miles. My service light is on however i do not need one as it has just been serviced however when the light is on my start stop wont work it just doesn't do it and my wipers will only work on the last highest settings thats it (my back one works fine) however the light in the past has turned off for the odd minute or 2 and everything works fine then but it comes back and they don't work again. I was wondering if anyone knew a solution or what the problem is. Th
