I've just recently bought a 2012 Astra J GTC 2.0 litre sri diesel and I love her. Colour had to be Yellow so I stick out like a sore thumb even more so after spending 10 hours cleaning her, lol. Can't wait to read up on the mods I can do, already changed the number plates for 3d effect ones and looking to see what everyones been up to.

Morning all, just found this forum after my timing belt snapped on my vectra. decided it was time to get something newer and more reliable, bought this 61 plate astra

Just to say hello to everyone I have indicated my location on the owner's map and hope
to share my interests/questions with you all in the future. I have a Astra J 1.6 elite auto.

Ok so about a few months ago I have this really bad squeaking which sounded like it was coming from outside the car from drives side rear.
I have the discs and pads changed all round and never noticed the issue again, until the other day.

So after driving with the radio off, i can hear it again.

anybody got any idea what it could be?

Hello fellow Astrites!

I am new to the forum but have been on the Astra Facebook page for some weeks now.
Based near Preston, Lancashire, I have my ongoing project with Astra for it to be the ultimate sleeper 5-door astra. Currently running about 200bhp at the wheels from the 1.6 Turbo petrol and I absolutely love it to pieces!

Got my first car, which happens to be a White Astra GTC 1.7 SRI

Been looking all over the place to see what I can upgrade/tweak and it's looking like this is the place to do just that! Looking for any advice/recommendations on what parts to get, such as lighting and upgrading the CD player to a NAV one..
