Single mass flywheel conversion for a 2010 2.0 CDTI Insignia
Hey guys!

My A20DTH160HP 2010 Insignia seems to be suffering from a worn out or damaged flywheel. It started with a small rattling noise and now, over the winter, the sound is louder than the aircon maxed out, the car vibrates at idle, it jutters whenever I shift gears or when I release the clutch pedal pulling off from a stand still. Engine braking also starts to sound like engine breaking.

Everyone seems to suspect that the flywheel is either worn out or damaged (the dampening springs

Parts for passenger seat
I'm after the spring that goes on the adjuster handle of the front seats. It's the handle you lift to slide the seat backwards and forwards. The spring goes between the handle and the locking mechanism on the runner.

I'm also after the part numbers for the threaded torx bolt (I think it's an m6) and the nut the goes with it which bolts the runner to the seat frame.

Hopefully that makes sense?

Kotix Custom ROM for the Android S160 (M072) Head Unit
Due to Sheppy's original thread for the S160 (M072) Android HU Installation getting off topic/polluted with Kotix ROM chatter, I thought it might be worthwhile setting up a separate thread for the Kotix ROM discussion.

For those not familiar with the Kotix ROM, it is a custom ROM for the S160 unit (Not just the M072 - M072 is the Astra J version of it) which provides some additional functionality and also overcomes some of the limitations of the standard ROM.

The main benefits are:-

How-to front mudguards for vxr style pack 1 (maybe all)
Righty then, i think tucpal has made a how to for the normal styling packs that you get and the rear for my 2016 gtc LE with vxr pack 1 went on perfectly but needed to take the wheels off. For the front i used a T20 torx screwdriver, 4 zip ties, a pencil, sharpie, a drill with various drill bits, a grinder, pin pliers, wire snips and soapy water with sponge. As always read this guide and familiarise yourself before starting

First you want to turn the wheel so you can get access (or take it off

What to look for when buying used GTC
Hi Guys,

Looking for some advice.

I currently drive a 1.8 Civic Type-s. Its been a good work horse for the last four years but is now showing its age as it approaches 115k on the clock.

I tend to keep my cars for around 4-5 years and do around 18K a year, so need something reliable.

Two cars have caught my eye. the first is a 2013 1.6T sri with 24k on the clock. The other is a 2.0 CDTi sport with 23K on the clock.

I'm leaning towards the 1.6T as I mainly drive b roads and when I o

Recently on two occasions after I have driven the car for a while,  stopped and then re start the cooling fan has come on for a few seconds.
