How to stop Smelly air-con
I can't take the praise for this one as such, although mine is slightly different to the how to guide available elsewhere on the Internet.

Here goes: For a few months I have had a bad smell from the air con after it has been turned off, especially the day after. I understand this to be a build up of bacteria within the system, but I hadn't realised how cheap and easy it is to resolve.

Firstly, buy a can of this which cost me £3 from Asda. I understand it has been

Air con pully/clutch question
Anyone on here had any luck with servicing the pully/clutch on a 2.0 cdti?
Had it into a garrage today who want to replace the whole pump for £500
But can't get a part until next week.
Have a long drive this weekend (over 1000 miles) and I don't fancy being without air conditioning

The center of the pully tries to catch when air conditioning switched on so I'm pretty confident it's the clutch mech thst is gubbed

Air Con Hiss
Hi

My air con has started to make a hissing noise when it is switched on and is no longer cold. Is it worth trying to do a top up or is it likely I have a leak?
It’s a 64 plate and done 46k miles. I’ve never had it topped up before.

Thanks

Air Con Pipe ID
Hi All,

I have a leak in my Air Con system coming from the high pressure/low pressure pipes. Having trouble ID'ing the part numbers. Its a 2014 2.0 CDTI SRI, i've looked on ebay and these used ones look the right ones but they have no part code for me to check new prices. Can anyone help?

Much appreciated

Marc
