Car losing power
Hi all I've got Astra J 1.7 cdti recently it has been what I would describe as a misfire but tonight on the moterway on way home from work it started to happen quite regularly and felt as if it was going to cut out it was happening while in cruise control and out of cruise control when It was in cc and losing power it would turn off cc but there is no warning lights or fault codes showing any help would be greatly appreciated someone suggested it could be the fuel pump
We got a new car.... :-)
Hey folks,
Following on from my other thread, where I was asking for
advice about an Astra-J , you guys gave me some great feedback and pretty much turned me away from the 1.7 CDTI when I was on the verge of buying one...so thank you and hope thats a decision that serves me well.
Anyway, many searches and viewing on from that thread, and I have now finally bought an Astra-J.
So, I h

I was previously running a 2010 Smart fortwo as my second vehicle, which helped keep some of my 30K mileage a year off of the Astra

New Car
I just purchased a new Astra and it has had Code 22 pop up ever since I had picked it up, last Sunday which I found out on google is the right sides light has a fault or is a non-generic light.
I looked at the car this morning and actually have realised it seems to be missing a light (I think)
Looking at the indicators, the right-hand side's light has got a space on the outer ring of it which looks empty whereas the left-hand side seems to have a light below it.
Please find both links
Car starting issues

Car vision satnav provider change
Does anyone know if it would be possible to change the satnav system on the car vision unit from Aponia ( which is crap IMO) to copilot? I know copilot runs on WIN CE too so there must be a way to do it.
I know sweet FA about windows these days, so not sure how i could go about doing it. At present the Aponia satnav loads up straight after the vauxhaul boot up logo. This is my only regret about not getting an Android unit. That would have been a piece of piss to route and do put what I want
Car Insurance in the news again
There have been a couple of items in the news in recent days about the cost of car insurance...
One claiming that comprehensive car insurance premiums rose on average by 14% (£95) during 2016 and the other that men still pay more than women even though gender equality rules state insurers can't specifically use gender as a rating factor.
Of course, on the question of gender there are other risk factors that produce the result - men tend to cover more miles and are more likely to drive for
