Service done but need new locking key
Service done. Had to pay an 1/2hr labour for them to untwist a brake pipe after I had new brakes done a few months back.
Was told he couldn't get the locking nut off as the key was rounded.
I would have thought anyone with some sense would have called me and told me about this and offered to sell me a new wheel nut key but no. He managed to u twist it without removing the wheel anyway.
Parts dept was closed when I picked up the car so does anyone m ow how much vx charge and is it a new key or d

Hi,

I can't keep it in any longer - I'm too excited for you. So I've decided I'm going to let you in now on something pretty cool that's happening in the next few days.

It's still very hush-hush so I can't say too much at this stage or I'll get in trouble but I wanted you to know that the next Chris Knott prize draw is soon to be launched and it promises to be the best one yet!

What I can tell you is that it will benefit anyone asking us to quote, between 1 March and 31 May, for a car w

My new second car, non Vauxhall, but, British
I was previously running a 2010 Smart fortwo as my second vehicle, which helped keep some of my 30K mileage a year off of the Astra

However, soon after buying the Smart it became obvious it was lemon in the automated manual gearbox department........

6 break downs, all gearbox related, one new clutch actuator later and yet still the same issues persisted.........

Car has been rejected by me back to the supplying garage via the finance company, which is proving to be a long, drawn out an

Should have done this earlier but...
...Just wanted to say Hi.

Only came on here to get some advise on how to remove the sun visor (thanks Rusty). That was about a week ago, in that time I've spent about £120 on various bits n bobs and plan to spend even more on a bigger set of wheels, just don't tell the Mrs. lol

TPMS Sensors on wheels but not on car
Hi all,

Last night I purchased some new wheels for my car, and I suspect they may have TPMS sensors fitted, but my car doesn't have TPMS.

I have a couple of questions:

  1. Can I still use these wheels with the sensors installed?
  2. Is it possible to replace the sensors with normal valves?
