Any one fitted a boost guage and dump valve to there diesels yet if so how did you fit them

I'm new to the group so apologies if I'm in the wrong place. I have an Astra j 1.7cdti on a 2011 plate. Long storey short, I bought a lemon of a car and have had to have a engine rebuild at 76k! Since the rebuild when I accelerate between 1800-2000rpm the car sounds like a dentists electric drill to best describe it. The turbo has been checked and is ok and no splits or lose pipes. My mechanic is scratching his head and even had it in rolling road diagnostics today and nothing came up

I have a fault code that comes up turbo boost not learned any one had this issue cheers astra j 2.0 cdti tried to learn it on op-com but don't no if I am doing it right

Looking at installing a boost gauge. 


Anyone done it? How did you run the tube from the engine bay to the gauge in the cockpit?

Does anyone know the location for the boost sensor on the astra J 1.7cdti ?  I need to fit my racechip box but unable to find the sensor.

i'm looking for some advice to installing a boost gauge i know how to install the gauge its self but unsure where i should tap the boost from.

Just installed a boost gauge in my astra J 1.6 turbo. I'm far from a mechanic but managed with help from youtube. Anyone stuck on theirs give me a shout and I will try and help.
