Astra Gtc

Is there someone to tell me how can i deactivate this setting with an op-com.I have already done this from the settings (config) of the CD player of the car but this continues to be activated by accident...

Ok so it says in manual that you can use the fob to open/close the electric windows by holding the open/lock button. I've tried this and it doesn't work! Does anyone know why or if there is something I need to do to make it work? I used to be able to do this with my Corsa D and never had to do anything.

Just wondering, Does any one here experience a wierd behaviour on Rev gauge while on a not so steep downhill?

Basically, i own an Astra GTC 1.4T Auto transmission and when i'm doing a downhill, (doing around 40 ~ 60 mph - rev around 2000 rpm) and apply brake to slowdown, the engine rev goes up to 3000 ~ 4000 rpm.  Is this kind of normal?

I asked few Automatic car drivers (Jaguar XE owner and a BMW 3 Series owner - all 65 plate), and they said they haven't experinced such

I have a 2013 Astra SRi 2.0 CDTi Auto Tourer with 45k miles on the clock

It has been perfect since i bought it 4 months ago but noticed in the last few days that when on the motorway (whether the engine is hot or cold), as soon as i let off the accelerator, even a little bit, due to traffic etc, it changes down from 6th to 5th with a very small jerk. The jerk is much more noticeable than normal changes and wasn't happening last week.

I thought maybe it was trying to keep the revs

Useless with cars but my GTC (2014 (64 plate)) the gear knob has effectively broke. The little silver latch that I hold has broken. Vauxhall are quoting my 600 quid but I cba to pay that. Really don't want to.

I'm wondering if someone could help me identify what replacement I'd require? I have no idea about cars. Quite frankly I bought the GTC 4 years ago and I drive it. Never had an issue with it thankfully.
