Astra j wheel nut thread sizes
Had my new wheels fitted today but I can't have my locking wheel nuts back on due to being too wide. Been looking at some and I've read that Astra nuts are m12 x 1.5 x 30mm..

Ive found some locking nuts that are m12 x 1.5 x 32mm and there the only narrow ones I can find. Will these fit even though there 2mm longer in thread depth? Thank you [Image: http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916...7c099a.jpg]

Astra Elite Owner
Hi everyone,

I'm picking up my astra elite on Tuesday morning, will be a welcome change for us,  Been a vectra driver for the last 4 years and although it has been rock solid its time for a change before it starts to costs money,  The vectra is a 1.8vvti and as it has been totally reliable I went for the 1.6 vvt astra, although i know its not that good on fuel economy round town and its not that pokey i think its a better option for us than a diesel as we do a lot of short trips in town.

Pipercross VS K&N panel filter (Astra GTC 1.6T)
Hey guys!

Recently picked up a 2013 GTC (1.6 Turbo 180ps) and I am currently looking into smaller tuning options, at least for now anyways.

After looking at cone filters, I've pretty much ruled them out due to the limited amount of kits out there, the price of the kits available, the effort of making one myself and heatsoak issues.

So back to the question, as far as I know the Pipercross is about £15 cheaper and is a dry filter, vs the K&N which I believe is oiled.

So all I really

Interesting Astra J on ebay..........
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-ASTRA-2-0...SwNRdX29N9

Stumbled across this just now, 240bhp and over 400lbft ! I imagine it will break gearboxes pretty swiftly with all that torque

No mention of how it has the extra power and torque

About the cheapest bi-turbo I have ever seen too
