M072 (S160) Android Head Unit Install/Info
Hi all,

So this thread will be used for me to gather info and then add it to this original post...rather than having info all over various threads etc.

I want to start off by linking to the module I'm personally installing:

http://www.iceboxauto.com/vauxhall-opel-...id-44-m072

There are two other main models I'm aware of which are the C072 and A1884 (think that's the model number) which have varying difference

How to Install Android Head Unit + Wireless Reverse Camera
Welcome to my tutorial on installing the Android M072 Aftermarket Head Unit (this tutorial could probably be used for other head units too) and wireless reverse camera. So here’s a pic of everything I ordered and needed for this mod:

Head Unit Itself:

So you’ll want to follow the tutorial that @rusy2009 put up on how to remove the head unit:

installing Android radio in Astra J Sports Tourer
Hi All,

I'm having a problem whit installing a Android radio in my Astra J (2011) instead of my original radio CD500 (whit navigation). I know that a CD400 model or a CD300 model has almost the same middle console like a CD500 model. The only thing is a difference in the wiring of the middle console and steering wheel functions. Now i'm trying to build this Android radio instead of my radio CD500 model and got it almost 100% working. The only thing what I'm struggling whit is that middle con

Android Headunits
I'm looking at upgrading from my CD400 to an Android headunit soon. I know a lot of people here use the M072 and it seems to have reasonable reviews but I have noticed that Icebox also do an Android 6.0 headunit for basically the same money. It also has a better processor and more memory.
Heres a link http://www.iceboxauto.com/opel-astra-j-2...d-60-b5754
Has anyone any experience of the Android 6.0 headunit or is it best to stick with the tried and tested M072?

ANDROID B5754 HEAD UNIT
Hi!

Just got my Astra J SRI VX line, very happy with it apart from the lack of Bluetooth :-(

Anyway i've been doing a lot of searching on the net and i was going to buy the Retrofit bluetooth module for the CD400 but its a lot of money just for bluetooth. I also thought about a double din head unit but the cost of the modified surround is stupid money for a bit of plastic trim. So i've stumbled upon the Android head units, i've seen a couple on threads on here and a couple of videos on You

DVD800 to modern android conversion
Recently bought a 2009 insignia with factory fitted DVD 800. In my previous car I had a flagship model pioneer so even if it's a nice system I have to consider it a downgrade.
The Chinese MTCD systems seem to offer a lot of value with 8-core 2GB and a nice capacitive touchscreen for hardware and a nicely customizable android 6 OS on the software side. That at a $450 USD price point seems very interesting, perhaps even more so since that seems to be kind of money I'd need to spend to upgrade the

No radio signal on android headunit
Hi,

I have just replaced my cd400 with an android head unit from iceboxauto. Everyhthing is working great but can't tune radio, just searches but does not find any stations.

The cd400 had no signal issues. Does the DAB/FM antenna work for normal FM?

Thanks
