Towing and Parking Sensors
Good morning all
Does any one tow a trailer or caravan with factory fit parking sensors?
Everytime I hitch up the trailer or caravan, the park assist will turn off. I know this should happen if you have the proper wiring and programmed in to the car, but being a mean scotty, I just have normal cheap electrics fitted.
Does anyone elses do this? And if so, how does it know your towing?? Kinda weird how it knows. The minute I remove the trailer, all is back to normal!
Cheers

This ex police astra J is doing my head in, I bought a reset radio off ebay which wouldn't communicate with MDI in the car for some reason so had to send it back, now I started looking at connect2 again and realised I need steering controls for it which I don't have, so yet again im stuck with it and the car is driving me mad, stupid Vauxhall want £500 for a brand new radio fitted, I found someone on here selling one but there 200mile away and still quoting me near 300 for it, anyone any ideas?

Ever since I got my 1.6vvt it vibrates when its hot quite heavily I can feel it in the seat and the steering wheel, plus it knocks for a second or so everytime i stop completely or change from d to r and vibration increases also when ac is on I only did 8500 km its brand new. Dealer told me its bad fuel even though I only use 92 octane from trusted stations. any ideas?

High Beam Assist and LED street lights
Does anyone else's car struggle to detect that there are LED street lights so sticks main beam on?
They have recently replaced all the local street lights to the LED style which is great but now if I have High Beam Assist switched on the car thinks there are no street lights so it puts high beam on.
Front camera retrofit for Lane departure and traffic sign assist
I'm hoping to retrofit the Front camera that is used for Lane departure and traffic sign assist.
I know I will need the following
Windscreen
Switch for camera
Camera
Mirror loom
I have sourced a camera at a bargain price of £52 (instead of £500+), It was a gamble buy as it's listed on EPC as a 3 door.
I have ordered the Mirror loom for £18 as I want to see if I can talk to the camera before buying a new windscreen.
Has anybody with a 5-door got the front camera? as I would like
