A17DTC v A17DTE
Hi All,

Does anyone know the differences between these two model identifiers? I'm looking at Bluefin remaps and they say they can do the DTE model but don't mention the DTC model (this is what i think mine is).

a17dte engine noisy?
hi, hope this is posted in the correct place. new user! i have recently purchased an astra 1.7 ecoflex a17dte start/stop. 2013. i think that the engine is very noisy, especially on acceleration. is this normal? i previously owned a corsa d 1.7 cdti dtr and the engine in that was much quieter and more muffled sounding. i am searching and searching and not having any luck in finding any info about this.

Blue smoke from a17dte today
I have had my car for a few months now and have always complained about the engine being noisy, but after having taken it to a local garage and main dealer both telling me there is nothing wrong i have just tried to accept the way it is. I have now done a few thousand miles and it is still the way it has always been. Does the a17dte 1.7 engine have swirl flaps?
I have seen a few posts about swirl flaps on diesel engines becoming stuck or faulty. Does my engine have them, if so how can i locate them?

DPF problems cold weather 1.7 cdti 110 hp A17DTE
Hi, I have an astra j 2013 1.7 cdti 110 hp A17DTE and as soon as the weather has cooled it shows me that the DPF is full and to continue driving. What could be the reasons why the car makes so many regenerations if for example today I drove 1000 km on the highway and everything was ok and tomorrow morning when I start the car I get a warning with DPF on board. Any opinion is highly appreciated.
