We got a new car.... :-)
Hey folks,

Following on from my other thread, where I was asking for advice about an Astra-J, you guys gave me some great feedback and pretty much turned me away from the 1.7 CDTI when I was on the verge of buying one...so thank you and hope thats a decision that serves me well.

Anyway, many searches and viewing on from that thread, and I have now finally bought an Astra-J.

So, I h

Remap on a f40WR
Evening all,

I just picked up an GTC 2.0 CDTI 165 and was wanting to get it remapped, on paper the car goes from 165bhp to 350NM to 200bhp with 440NM which looks fantastic.

The worry I have is according to several online sources the gearbox is only rated for 400NM and I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and could say if the gearbox held up okay?

Cheers!

From an Astra, to a Corsa, and back to an Astra?
I've been on here for quite a while now having owned a 2013 Astra last year. It was my first car and although I liked it, I couldn't justify the insurance once I passed my test Thud  Fast forward to March and I sold it for a brand new Corsa Limited Edition. The downside being in the time that I have owned it I've had to take it back for peeling paint, seats ripping and constant error messages. The fit and finish compared to the Astra is really quite poor. Upside is the insurance is almost half

Advice needed regarding HID upgrade for a 2010 Insignia
Hello everyone!

I am the owner of a 2010 Insignia that is factory equipped with a pair of halogen headlamps. I should also mention it has headlamp washers and manual leveling.

I use this car daily mostly to and from work. During autumn / winter I finish work after night fall and my daily commute includes a 30 km piece of road through an unlit field that has been known to have the occasional jaywalking rabbit or other, larger, 4 hoofed creature.

I recently drove a friend's car equipped

Which tyres should I have? Comments please....have a few choices
Hey folks,

I need new tyres, but always conscious about how they perform. Dont/cant break the bank, but at the same time need some decent rubber.

My choices are:
- Dunlop SP Sport 1, Part Worn with approx 5.5-6mm tread remaining - around £70 the pair fitted;
- Uniroyal Rainsport 2 - NEW - around £120 the pair fitted;

Single mass flywheel conversion for a 2010 2.0 CDTI Insignia
Hey guys!

My A20DTH160HP 2010 Insignia seems to be suffering from a worn out or damaged flywheel. It started with a small rattling noise and now, over the winter, the sound is louder than the aircon maxed out, the car vibrates at idle, it jutters whenever I shift gears or when I release the clutch pedal pulling off from a stand still. Engine braking also starts to sound like engine breaking.

Everyone seems to suspect that the flywheel is either worn out or damaged (the dampening springs
