Tyres - what have you got on your car ?
My Astra will soon be needing a couple of tyres, and at 235 45 r18 size they won't be cheap.
I don't like to use cheap tyres, they are often dangerous in the wet, but on the other hand I don't much fancy paying £150 a tyre for premium tyres either.
What kind of tyres are you using and what do you think of them...?

OBD II scanner - what works on the Astra ?
I'm looking for a OBD2 scanner to find and delete engine management (or service vehicle soon) codes on my Astra.
I have so far tried the Autophix OM 123. It connected with my car ok, but failed to read a service vehicle soon fault displaying on my dash.
Can anyone recommend something that works for them, please ?

New Engine Needed ?
Afternoon guys. Car broke down on me last week and pushed loads of steam out exhaust. Knew straight away that the head has gone. Was hoping for just a new gasket repairs but was prepared to source a refurbed head if it was cracked. However, its worse. A lot worse. There has been a hole burned through the head between cylinders and on top of that the piston is partially melted and the barrel is scored with molten head metal. The engine is a 1.7cdti 125bhp. The car is worth too much to just scrap

Vauxhall Astra 1.7 CDTi SRi no phone settings, why!?
Hi all,
[color=#383a3b][size=small]Looking for some help/advice setting up my phone to my recently bought 2011 astra. I got this car because it has so many great qualities and the phone connection/bluetooth being 1 of them, as I've not had this before so was appealing. However, when searching through the configure options, theres nothing for phone or bluetooth and when I press the 'phone' button, it just mutes audio. I've reset the settings but still

Bluetooth music streaming - does it work in your Astra...?
Hi everyone, I have a question for everyone who uses streaming music from mobile to car radio via Bluetooth. I just bought an Astra J, year 2014, with the Navi900 system. I lived in the belief that this year, sending music from a mobile phone to a car radio is a matter of course. If I haven't missed something, I can't. The car radio has been paired with the mobile phone without any problems and the hands-free mode with the telephone works without any problems. But when I want to send music from
