Oil change schedule today. Somebody told me Castrol Edge 5w40 is better than GM oil. So now i bought Castrol Edge turbo diesel 5w-40 TITANIUM FST. What you think about this oil and oil grade for Opel Astra J 1.7 cdti, 2011? This oil is full synthetic. Usually I'm changing GM 5w30, now this Castrol is 5w40, can this be a problem?
Car passed already over 185 000km.
So far with GM oil I did not have any problems. But I just want to try Castrol. Changing oil yearly not passing
