Hi all, thought I'd start a little thread as I've just bought myself a 2012 Astra GTC 1.4 turbo (120).

My plans for the car are to get it up to around 180bhp, does this sound achievable? There must be other owners on here with the 1.4 turbo engine that have reached this sort of figure. What's the best route to take? Any info at all on this subject is appreciated as the GTC is still new to me.

Hi all I have a 2010 Astra j 1.4 petrol ( non turbo ) which has just started playing up. Whilst driving warning lights come on the dash as can be seen in the first image, the speedo and the odometer stop working. This will then clear then start again. Then sometimes the power steering stops working and the lights on the dash are as in image 2. This can then clear and the cycle repeats itself. Looking at changing the wifes Corsa VXR for a GTC but would like to know how to achieve twin exhausts like this one?

I have spoke with the dealer we are getting the GTC from but they can't find a twin exhaust lower valance for the GTC on their system.

Hi is it possible to put half leather Sri gtc seats in the Astra gtc sports as the only have cloth ones or will it bring on airbag lights 

Anyone got 4 parking sensors for sale? 

i've tried the 4 for £25 off ebay, but they come up with an 'incorrect component installed' error. 

they are for a meriva B, 2011, same ones as fitted to astra J's and the like i believe... part number 93191445,

Hi guys, new to the forum and the GTC, recently bought a 2016 GTG Sri 140ps and think a remap is needed, its not terrible but my other car is a DS3 165 sport so can tell the difference lol. Any suggestions on where to take it in the Midlands , any one local had one done and can offer advice.

I'm considering buying an Astra GTC and have found one that ticks most of the boxes, however I have just noticed that it is the 1.4 118 bhp model not the 138 bhp. What is the difference between the two engines? Is it physical or software? Could I still eventually achieve the same power output with tuning mods?

I'm trying to find info on how often this is, but i keep finding conflicting info. Belt changes seem to say anywhere from 60k to 100k and chain changes say 60k/150k and the life of the car. Any idea on the real answer?

2013 Astra J SRI 1.7 diesel 130BHP   80K on clock
Engine noise when clutch 1/4 pressed & 1/4 released.
If car in neutral & clutch pressed 1/4 way down the noise is loudest,
Could it be DMF & if so what the cost approx of fitting?

Car running fine otherwise
