Faulty Boot Seams?
Good Morning (Just!)
I recall reading somewhere that early Astra's have a problem with the boot seams failing but I can't locate it.
Reason for asking is my Astra has water in the footwell which was partly due to the high level brake light, which is now changed.
However I am still getting water in the boot after rain and it appears to be coming out the seam on the boot floor at the back. I suspect this as when I wiped the water away I could see a drop of water re-emerging through the se

CD400 FAULTY
Hi Everyone - i've just bought a 2010 Astra SRi. Comes with a CD400 main unit, with the nav screen
The screen does not work at all - no display or lights at all.
The controls on the main stereo do not work at all
The steering wheel controls do work though and i get sound through the speakers.
I have no idea if it came from the factory with the Nav Screen or if previous owner has tried to upgrade and it's not been done correctly.
Any advice on where to start looking?
Cheers for yo

dash cluster faulty
Hi, we've got a problem with my daughters J (1.6 petrol)
started it today and the central info display between the speedo and rev counter doesn't light up
it looked like it trying to say the normal warnings, change oil, put foot on clutch etc all barely visible as not lit up in red
the last thing it said was PROGRAM CLUSTER
which doesn't sound good to me,
any ideas how I can cure this at home?

Astra Issues – Faulty thermostat?
So, my Astra A16 LET 1.6 Turbo recently sprung a leak as the thermostat housing had split.
Replaced the thermostat and housing and the 2 temperature sensors (one in the housing and 1 on the radiator), which fixed the leak. However, the fan is still constantly on maximum all the time, coolant level low message appearing (I think the radiator is empty as the reservoir is filled up and doesn’t drop), and the coolant temp won’t get over 75C using an OBD reader.

Drive belt or faulty tensioner?
Hi all
Sorry not sure if I have posted this in the wrong section. I've got a real problem with my engine as you can hear in the video attached below.

Now I'm not sure if this could be a bad pulley, bad drive belt or even faulty AC Compressor. As I've learnt the noise stops when I turn my AC off.
Any opinion highly appreciated.
